Gregory Fagan is the Director of Humanitarian Program Strategy & Performance Management at Foundation S, a key component of Foundation S global efforts to advance health equity. Passionate about improving patient outcomes in underserved communities, Gregory spearheads strategic initiatives with a focus on Hemophilia and Rare Genetic Diseases. He ensures these programs align with global health priorities, collaborating closely with industry partners and patient organizations to maximize their impact.
Gregory holds a Ph.D. in International Public Health, where his research concentrated on the impact of pharmaceutical drug donation strategies in low- and middle-income countries. With over 25 years of experience across the pharmaceutical, public health, and humanitarian sectors, he has been instrumental in leading transformative programs, driving significant impact through strategic leadership and innovative cross-sector collaboration.
Prior to his current role, he managed global medical programs for Rare Hematology, where he oversaw medical affairs plans and the International Collaborative Gaucher Group (ICGG) registry. Throughout his career, his work has consistently focused on enhancing patient access to care and advancing global health initiatives.
In addition to his professional endeavors, he is deeply committed to global health through volunteer work. He serves with the American National Red Cross and New England Organ Donor Services. He also founded and led the Variant Health Foundation from 2018 to 2022, focusing on equitable access to confirmatory genetic testing.
