Céline Beauchard

Project Leader, Sleeping Sickness

Céline Beauchard joined Foundation S on 1 October 2023.

Since 2018, Céline has worked with internal and external experts to ensure the success of Sanofi’s Sleeping Sickness Clinical Program with the aim of supporting the global WHO ambition of eliminating the disease by 2030.

Working in partnership with partners and non-governmental organizations such as the Drug for Neglected Diseases initiative (DNDi) and working with internal R&D, Medical, and manufacturing teams, Celine contributes to the development and registration of two new treatments for Sleeping Sickness, Fexinidazole and Acoziborole.

Prior to joining the Sleeping Sickness Program at Sanofi, Céline managed R&D and medical programs for prostate cancer, diabetes & cardiovascular disease.

In 2018, Celine joined Sanofi’s Global Health Program, and in 2021 she received a certificate in Global Health from the Conservatoire National des Arts & Métiers in Paris, France. Céline holds a master’s degree in cellular biology and a post graduate diploma in marketing.
